We invite submissions on all aspects of machine learning, knowledge discovery and data mining. We especially encourage submissions of papers that describe the application of machine learning and data mining methods to real-world problems, and highlight new research challenges in new domains such as the web, medicine, biology, neuroscience, engineering, government fields. Submissions that demonstrate both theoretical and empirical rigor are also highly encouraged.
